RMEC - 314 Hazardous Waste Site Safety: 8 Hour Hazwoper

Hazardous Waste Site Safety: 8 Hr Hazwoper Refresher

Workers trained in hazardous waste operations are required to attend a yearly refresher course as mandated by OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120. Using case studies, group activities, and hands-on practice, this course will increase and refresh your knowledge of harardous wates operations and emergency responses. Individuals who wish to refresh their 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification and are enrolled in an OSHA 500, 501, 502 or 503 course, may do so by paying an additonal $75.00 to receive their recertification. The content of the OSHA 500, 501, 502, and 503 courses meet the requirements to receive an 8-Hour Refresher certificate. 8 CEUs

RMEC 313 - Hazardous Waste Site Safety: 40-Hour HAZWOPER

OSHA's 29 CFR 1910.120 standard indicates that workers exposed to hazardous substances are required to attend 40 hours of safety training. This course examines proper health and safety procedures and personal protection during work operatons at hazardous wates sites. Topics include hazard identification and control, safety planning, site control, personal protective equipment, site monitoring, emergency and incident response operations, and decontamiation processes. 4.0 CEUs

Leave No Trace Instructor Level 2

(Formerly Leave No Trace Master Educator)

Leave No Trace Training is broken up into two tracks: an Instructor track and a Recreational track. The Instructor Training track is designed for those in a role to actively teach Leave No Trace in park of group settings and provides certification to those who complete courses. The Recreational Training track is designed for those who have a desire to learn the skills and information of Leave No Trace to apply in their own outdoor pursuits. Participants in Recreational Training courses can receive Certificates of Completion. Instructor courses are either 2 or 5 days in length while Recreational courses range from 30 minutes to 2 days in length. Find out more in the FAQ below or contact our education team for more info.
